How do I specify tubing fit around a wire bundle?
Provide the finished bundle size and the required inner diameter with installation clearance. State outer diameter, wall thickness and tolerances as well. Check bends, terminations and the installation sequence on an actual sample.
Is PVC tubing automatically an approved electrical insulation sleeve?
No. A wire-covering application or the PVC material name does not establish an insulation or flame rating. Identify the required standard and documentation for the selected tubing before using it in a regulated assembly.
When should I compare PVC with silicone tubing?
Compare the complete grade, dimensions, installation behavior and environmental requirements. Material names alone do not establish equivalent flexibility, temperature range or chemical compatibility. Request samples and supporting documents for both proposed configurations.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
These depend on the selected configuration and quantity. NF confirms the applicable minimum order, sample arrangements and production timing in the quotation.
